Overloading Meeting Rooms & Sydney Crookery

Admissions of grotesque and dangerous overloading of meeting rooms are rife globally!

Here's an admission by the 'Grand Poohbah':

“Is that actually brethren up the back there, or is that a mirror of the people behind me? Are you up there? Are you real people? Okay, it’s good to see you. I never expected Woodlands to be like this, l have to admit. I thought I was just coming to what they call a relatively full hall.”

“Fourteen-fifty. It was built for about seven hundred or something, was it? So we just hope the people don’t make their entry, Mr. Russell. It’s not likely in Woodlands. By the time they hear about it, they probably have to come from Winnipeg, so we play for time, is that it?”

“Sydney, we’re just crooks, we’re crooks. Sydney is just full of out-and-out crooks. So that’s my job in Sydney, I’ve got to straighten out the Crooks, that’s a full-time job, I tell you. That’s why I get away every now and again, because otherwise you get too busy, got too many crooks to deal with. That’s the truth. You don’t believe that, but that’s the truth.”

  1. So are the 'crooks' Brethren? Or worldly evil people who have come to see Bruce as the golden goose. No pun intended. An awful lot of time spent talking about 'business' I note. God barely gets a look in as usual. With those sort of attendances, it won't be long before Bruce starts charging admission! Thinks- maybe I should bail him up at the airport and do a McCorkellesque deal - 'Box Office Manager!' Don't stop me.........

    1. Yes, it was clearly Brethren that were being accused. Here are some other quotations where there is no room for doubt.

"That’s what Mr. Jim told us in January ’70, he said, You’re just crooks. We were just crooks. We were crooks, all right, we were crooks, putting on a good show to our beloved, and we were crooks! That’s the men, that’s the brothers, we were crooks."
      Ministry of B. D. Hales Vol. 21 page 79 (Sydney, 14 September 20030

"That’s what J.T.Jr. told us in our city. And you come to it that you’re just a crook, you’re just a crook. People got upset about it, you know. And the people that got upset, they wouldn’t admit they were crooks, but they were more crooked than we were. They were the real crooks. We were crooks, but they were, they were better crooks than we were."
      Ministry of B. D. Hales Vol. 92 page 292 (New York, 17 October 2009)

"Some of you young fellows, you’re really just crooks, you’re crooks. Think you can get in under our guard? You’re a crook. And we’ll, we’ll take care of you in due time, my word we will."
      Ministry of B. D. Hales Vol. 89 page 44 (Engadine, 12 July 2009)

  2. In the event of a fire at one of these over-crowded rooms, it's good to know that the Vapid Release Team will be immediately available to hold a BBQ for the malnourished firefighters. Also, will the said firefighters have to be well disposed before they are allowed to enter the burning buiding, and will they get their appliances through tbe locked and coded security gates? Just asking on behalf of the young.
